The leading postmodern theatre includes the writing style and the executive style of postmodern theatre, after the Artaud Theatre. This style of theatre has maintained its presence in the theatre of the world until the modern era. Postmodern theatre in the 1930s is featured in Artaud's critical writings of the theatre of his time. On the other hand, the background of the postmodern movement since the 1960s and in response to the school of modernism can be traced. Many thinkers have developed their ideas and through the movement the core of postmodern thought. The first and most influential of these is the French thinkers Jean-François Lyotard, the postmodern thinker of France. Attention to human, culture and human societies has always been emphasized in postmodern thought. On the other hand, by analyzing the components of progressive postmodern theatre, it seems that that postmodern theatre style has the greatest influence on the intellectual stage of postmodern thinkers, especially Lyotard's socio-cultural theories. This article aims to prove this with strong studies. The fundamental question in this regard is how the socio-cultural aspects of Lyotard have influenced the progressive postmodern theatre? The present paper obtains appropriate scientific data by studying the library and adapts the most prominent components of postmodern theatre with the cultural and social aspects of Lyotard by adopting an analytical-comparative method. This will show that the foundation of the special components of this style of theatre is rooted in the theoretical, cultural and social aspects of Lyotard.
